Privacy policy

BioFlex Tech Limited (“BioFlex”, “we”) is the data controller for personal data collected through bioflex.ie and the tools described below. Our head office is at Kilbride, The Ballagh, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, Ireland. You can reach us about privacy at info@bioflex.ie.

Enquiry form. When you contact us we receive the name, email address, optional phone number, sector and message you enter. We use these only to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to run the project.

Email. If you email us directly, we keep the correspondence in our business mailbox.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.

This site does not use analytics, advertising trackers or non-essential cookies.

We run an internal tool that publishes posts written and approved by our own team to our own LinkedIn profiles and our company Page. It signs in only with BioFlex accounts, stores only the access tokens LinkedIn issues for those accounts, and does not read, collect or store data about other LinkedIn members.

We process enquiry data on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and where you engage us, to take steps toward and perform a contract with you. Server logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

We do not sell personal data. We use a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf:

• Vercel, which hosts this website.
• FormSubmit, which delivers enquiry form messages to our inbox.
• Microsoft 365, which hosts our business email.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

We keep enquiries only as long as needed to deal with them and any follow-up. Client records are kept for as long as Irish tax and company law require. We delete or anonymise data we no longer need.

Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to your personal data, and to correct, delete or restrict it, to object to how we use it, or to receive a copy in a portable format. Email info@bioflex.ie and we will reply within one month.

You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
